TUTORIAL
There are 2 basic ways to for your dog to 'talk'. One is 'announcement' mode and the other is 'script' mode.
In announcement mode, your dog simply makes statements about what it feels or what it observes. These statements might be funny, witty, sarcastic, nerdy, bossy, friendly, happy, etc. To help you get your creative juices flowing, we've made a list of statements you can use. But half the fun is making up your own statements!
With script mode, the idea is to create a conversation between you and your dog. It requires only a little more planning, but the results can be extremely entertaining! Think of this mode as a movie script. You have your lines and the dog has its lines. You say something, your dog responds, you say another thing and your dog responds to that. Here is a simple example:
You: do you want to go in the car?
Dog: can I put my head out the window?
You: yes you can
Dog: well, ok I'll go in the car
Use the app to record the dog's 2 lines as 2 separate recordings. Then, when you are ready to impress your friends, first say your line, then press 'play' on the app for the dog's first line, and so on. With very little practice, you can really make it seem like you are having a conversation with your dog!
